| :: ABOUT THE SHOW |
|
|
Heavyweight TV is a new distinctively Australian Hip Hop TV program dedicated to representing the strength and diversity of the Australian Hip Hop culture.
Heavyweight TV features all genres of hip hop, from the well established to new emerging artists. The show focuses on the raw elements that constitute Hip Hop; MC’ing, Break Dancing, DJ’ing, and Aerosol Art.
Filmed in the studio and on location by voluntary members, Heavyweight TV contains an exciting combination of artist performance and interviews, live event footage, industry news, music video clips and special field segments.

Heavyweight TV debuted on Channel 31 Melbourne, on the 28th July '05 @ 9.30pm. Season One will run for 13 weeks, featuring some of Australia best Hip Hop talent, mixing it up with interviews and performances from the best international guests.
